I'm happily playing in the dishes!
This is 3 or more aspects of my
Easter Tablescape Dreams.
They rooted in my heart
I could not believe it when I noticed
some china in Virginia last summer?
I mean...really.
Is that the china that goes with
the soup plates I just got?!!
Oh NO.....it is!!
I think an elderly woman in the area had just put them
in the antique mall to sell. They harken back to
1949-1966.
8 plates and 8 bread and butter dishes too.
We knew we were in trouble.
I had them call her to get the price better, but you
gotta know there wasn't much haggling going on.
Do you understand Dish Love?
Hubby understands because he has a train room.
This is 3 or more aspects of my
Easter Tablescape Dreams.
This all started with finding these adorable soup plates.
2 yrs ago David Lackey China closed their doors
but not before I hit the 77% off remnants.
I got the 7 soup plates that were there alone,
they looked a little like my wedding china.

Hubby and I had been going on dates there for 16 years.
I'm so grateful for a Hubby that will allow me dishes.
Syracuse China...made in America..Forget~Me~NotI'm so grateful for a Hubby that will allow me dishes.
Remember I showed you this cloche.
maybe I can put the pink hearts on the b&b plates.

Happy delated Birthday, looks like you recived some nice gifts from your family. And the wagon and tools are a great gift since Spring is on it way. Thank you for shareing your photos.. Julian
ReplyDeleteWhat are you worried about? It is all good! Type is big enough, border is nice and not in the way of writing. The colors of type are all very readable and not a "blinking thing" in sight. Email button... not email, just a button to click would be nice, but, of course, that is one of my pet peeves, not everyones.
ReplyDeleteLove the egg made into place card holder. Good morning, xo Joan

All of your dishes are beautiful - Happy late Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteHi Denise Marie,
ReplyDeleteWanted to thank you for coming by my blog this week and your sweet comments on my tablescape.
I am like you I love love love dishes. I just found 2 of those lil heart bowls at Michaels right before Valentine's day. I decided to get the white ones, but now I wish I had gotten 2 red as well. they only had red and white, so I got the white cause they went with my dishes and I thought I could use them year round. If they get them again next year I will definitely get the red.
Can't wait to see your Easter tablescape, looks like you have the makings of a neat Easter garden setting. How fun.
I just did my first spring tablescape this week for hubbies birthday celebration yesterday. It was such fun.
Do you like to hang dishes on the walls and put them around on easel and stuff?? I have them all over the place. They make my heart sing!! lol
You have a great day hon,
thanks for stopping in,
Blessings, Nellie
