Do Ya'll remember this picture?
This is how she looks now...
I couldn't wait for Nate to draw the winner.
She's gonna be hoppin' over to ColoradoLady's place because she won!!
Which is pretty awesome because this meme has been such a fun perk
when I can get a post together.
Here is my recent vintage finding at a local thrift store:
That hankie was 50 cents and the pillowcase was $1.
I think I want to go back and get more of the cases, they even had a match to this 1.
I had a sick 12 yr. old with me begging to leave so I wasn't thinking right.
Girls, you know I only strike gold when it is terribly inconvenient for my family. lol
I can't get the funny 1 out of my head...
it is a donkey.
it is a donkey.
I think it would be funny to put it on whoever's bed is giving me any fits. lol
xox, DeniseMarie
Edit.look what I went back for...
Edit.look what I went back for...
I can double dog dare my hubby or Jr. High son to give me any trouble. lol
And, the match was still there but several were gone.
fun, fun, fun
fun, fun, fun

Hi Denise!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Suzanne!
Oh Denise, I love vintage pillow cases! They are so hard to find in good condition. I have two that my great grandmother made with beautiful hand made lace on them.
Have a wonderful day and go back and grab more of those pillow cases when you get some free time! :)
What a pretty hankie, never saw one quite like it. It always made me feel special to sleep on a pretty embroidered pillowcase!
ReplyDeleteHi Denise,
ReplyDeleteYour pillowcases and hankie are adorable. I'm sprinkling rose water all over this comment.
Too funny- I can sure commiserate, whenever I find a good deal is when someone has to "go reeeeeealllly bad mom!" and there's not a a bathroom in sight! Fingers crossed for you that your matching pillowcase is still there when you return! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog. Love your hankies and pillowcases. Nice giveaway you did too.

haha, you are funny with your donkey pillowcase. It is so true isn't it, that "not getting it out of my head" thing when you see something at the thrift store that you think you should have bought, but didn't! It can drive me crazy. I'm glad that you could go back and find what ever else you wanted. I love that rose hanky!
ReplyDeleteThanks also for the "make your husband feel like Superman" comment on my blog, I enjoyed that. :)
