Ok, I hadn't dusted off the bottoms of the Nutcrackers here. Our collection just keeps growing. I had to put them all up in their own bin this year.
Our youngest has been collecting them since he was like 3. We have teeny tiny up to that biggest 1 above.
I'm always running a repair shoppe because he loves to get his hands on them. lol
Here's a bag of Snowman cups I made for NASA dudes. Hubby had me make 14 the 1st day and 24 the next. I usually give them Snowman soup (cocoa) and Christmas chocolates. It was lots of fun. 1 guy told Hubby that no one had ever given him a Christmas gift...you never know how you may brighten someone's day. Blessings! xoxI'm joining in the fun at Rednesday with Sue Loves Cherries for the 1st time in a while.
You've got a great collection of nutcrackers, but what I really love is that afghan in the background! I really need to learn how to crochet!
ReplyDeleteHappy REDnesday!

Great collection of nutcrackers. We love them, too. My kids like to get a new one every year, so do I.

Nice nutcracker collection! How sweet for your youngest to have a collection.
ReplyDeleteLove your nutcrackers. They are a fun little collection, so many different ones.
ReplyDeleteYour story of the man receiving a snowman cup was so touching, too. Definitely had to make you feel good.
Oh that looks fun to have a nutcracker collection! The cups are a great idea too! You sure did make a lot of them! Hope you are having a great Rednesday! Sherri : )
ReplyDeleteThose tiny nutcrackers are so cute. It's wonderful how something as simple as you "snowman soup" cups can mean so much to someone. You are such a sweetheart for doing all those.

Pretty neat collection. I like nutcrackers too....Christine
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone - I hate to dust my nutcrackers, too! But I use a paint brush for the bottoms and crevices. I still haven't put mine away!
ReplyDeleteDenise that is a wonderful collection! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see your new pillows...He!
I was shopping at Kirklands yesterday as well.
Blessings to you. ~Melissa :)
Thanks for dropping by my blog today. I'm glad you were able to use the buttons. It looks like you and I have some things in common. I too collect nutcrackers. I've been collecting them since I was 7...I have a little more than 35 of them! I've officially stopped buying them, but I still LOVE them. Also, I noticed your vintage silver tree. I have one of those too. Sadly, I do not have the light. I didn't display it this year, but after seeing yours, I'll definitely put it up next Christmas. Thanks for sharing.
