Here is a simple picture of playdough hearts hand cut by my son and meticulously laid out. It makes me think of several scriputures.
How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity. -Psalm 133:1
Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. -Hebrews 10:24
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. -1 John 4:7
The Lord had done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. -Psalm 126:3
A happy heart doeth good like medicine!! Be blessed! Be full of praise and thanksgiving!!
Hello Denise Marie. It is so nice to meet you and have you share with us on Spiritual Sundays. I love the playdough hearts. Isn't it amazing how the simplest things can remind us of God's love and his Word. I'm glad you shared this with us. I'm sure your son will always have a heart for God.

ReplyDeleteYour son is off to a good start in understanding the need for brotherly love - it doesn't matter the color, or the size, you can never have too much or give too much!

Those are cute hearts! Your son must have put so much patience in forming them, perfecting them and creativity in making them into different colors. His cut-up playdoughs reminded me how we are carefully made, too by the loving hands of our good God. Blessings to you and have a great Sunday!
